Do I need to create a log in account?

Yes. You will use this account to:

  • Begin a new application.
  • Save and return to an unfinished application.
  • Submit your completed application for review.
  • View/print a completed application.
  • Track the status of your submitted application.
  • Pay your non-refundable application fee.
  • View items that you are required to provide.
  • View when required items are received.
  • Receive official notification of your admissions decision.

Who should use this application?

All instructions on the correct application to use and the how to complete the application process are available at Applications and the Basics.

First-year or transfer students applying for the first time to Rutgers. This includes students who have taken courses at Rutgers only on a non-matriculating (non-degree seeking) basis (including summer or winter term) and who now wish to pursue an undergraduate degree. For students who use this application, once you create your account, your application will be saved between visits until you are ready to submit it. Who should not use this application?

If you are applying to the Rutgers School of Health Related Professions.

If you were previously enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at any campus of Rutgers University and wish to return to take undergraduate courses for either degree or non-degree study, please use the Re-Enrollment Application.

If you are currently enrolled in a Rutgers University degree program and wish to enroll in a degree program at another Rutgers school prior to graduating, please use the School-to-School Transfer Application.
